Repeat trial orders
With Limit to one trial per client on, a client who already used a package's trial gets your Repeat Trial Orders action instead of a second free trial:
- Cancel it (no charge) (default): the order is canceled automatically, before it's set up on the server if possible.
- Hold for review: the service is suspended and flagged in the Trials list with a Bill Paid Term button.
- Bill the paid term: the service moves to the paid term and is invoiced immediately.
The client and your staff notification address are emailed in each case. Logged-in clients also see a notice on the order form, and the trial option is marked (trial already used).
The limit is per client account. Someone who creates a brand-new account can still get a trial.
Renewal invoices are handled for you
Blesta sends the paid-term invoice a few days before the trial ends (your Invoice Days Before Renewal setting). If the trial changes after that, for example the client clicks Cancel at End of Trial or staff click Extend, the plugin voids that unpaid invoice and puts the renewal date back, so the client is never billed twice.
For safety it only voids an invoice when nothing has been paid on it and every line belongs to the trial service. A partly paid invoice, or one that includes other services (common with Invoice Services Together), is left alone and flagged in the Trials list so you can adjust it by hand.
Staff actions
The Trials list shows every trial with its status and end date. Running trials have Extend, Convert Now and Cancel Now buttons.
