Client Forum adds a support forum to your Blesta client portal. Clients post with the login they already have.
Requirements
- Blesta 6.0 or newer
- PHP 8.3 or newer
- MySQL or MariaDB with InnoDB (for full-text search)
- Optional: Blesta's Support Manager plugin, for promoting tickets into threads
Install
- Unzip the download. Upload the client_forum folder into Blesta's plugins folder. The folder name must stay client_forum.
- Go to Settings > Company > Plugins > Available and click Install on Client Forum.
- Go to Settings > System > Staff > Staff Groups, edit your group, tick Client Forum and save.
- Open Forum in the staff menu. Add a category, then a board.
A Forum link appears in the client portal menu, and an Active Forum Threads card shows on the client dashboard.
Restricting a board to certain packages
When adding a board, tick Restrict and pick the packages. Only clients with an active or suspended service on one of those packages can see the board.
