Caddie adds 24 website, DNS, email, monitoring and business tools to your Blesta client area.
Requirements
- Blesta 6.0 or newer, PHP 8.3 or newer
- ionCube Loader v15
- PHP extensions: cURL, OpenSSL, mbstring, ZipArchive and SimpleXML
- Blesta's cron running (uptime and heartbeat monitors)
Install
- Unzip the download and upload the caddie folder into Blesta's plugins folder.
- Go to Settings > Company > Plugins > Available and click Install on Caddie.
- Go to Tools > Caddie > Settings and enter your License Key from your K & K client area (Services).
- Choose Who Can Use the Tools: any client, clients with an active service, or clients on specific packages.
- Fill in your Hosting Plans URL, Reseller Plans URL and Web Design URL. The tools' upsell banners and the hosting quiz link to these. Leave blank to use your order form.
- Optional: add a Google PageSpeed API key for the Core Web Vitals tool.
Clients get a Web Tools link in the client menu and a Web Tools dashboard widget.
Checking your license
Tools > Caddie > License shows the license status, registered name, valid domains and when it was last verified. Click Re-check license now after reissuing or changing your key.
The license is checked about every 15 days, with a 5-day grace period if our server can't be reached.
Staff access
The staff group that installed Caddie gets access automatically. For other groups, go to Settings > System > Staff > Staff Groups and grant Overview, Monitors & Links, and Use the Tools and, separately, Settings, Tools and License.
