Speck Host is a client area theme for WHMCS 9.1 or newer. Installing it takes about ten minutes.
Before you start
- Your server needs PHP 8.3 or 8.4 with ionCube Loader v15. Most hosts already have it.
- Your order form should be Standard Cart, the WHMCS default.
Install
- Log in to your K & K Web Services client area, open Services, and download the Speck Host zip from the product’s downloads. There are two downloads, one for PHP 8.3 and one for PHP 8.4. Pick the one that matches your server’s PHP version.
- Upload the zip to your WHMCS folder (the folder with configuration.php) and extract it. It adds two folders: templates/speckhost and modules/addons/speckhost.
- In WHMCS admin, go to Configuration > System Settings > Addon Modules.
- Find Speck Host Theme and click Activate.
- Click Configure, paste your license key (it starts with SpeckHost-), tick Full Administrator under Access Control and click Save Changes.
- Go to Addons > Speck Host Theme and check the license status says Active.
Preview before switching
Add ?systpl=speckhost to your client area address, for example yoursite.com/clients/index.php?systpl=speckhost. Only you see the new theme. Your customers keep seeing the old one.
Switch it on
Go to Configuration > System Settings > General Settings > General, set System Theme to Speck Host and save.
