This works for Caddie, Client Forum and Client Forum Pro. Your settings and data are kept when you update.
- Download the newest version from the product page under Services → My Services, or from Support → Downloads. Older versions stay available there too.
- Back up your WHMCS files and database. This is always a good idea before any update.
- Upload the module folder from the zip over the old one in
modules/addons/, replacing the files. - Open the addon's page in WHMCS admin once (for example Addons → Caddie). Any database changes run automatically.
- If you changed any text through a language override file, it is not overwritten. Theme edits you made for the client menu may need to be re-applied after a theme update, not after an addon update.
Updates are included for the first 12 months after purchase. After that, you can renew updates and support from the product page. If you don't renew, the version you have keeps working.
