Each hosting plan you sell in WHMCS should match a package in WHM. When a client orders, WHMCS creates their cPanel account with that package's limits.
Before you start
- Create your packages in WHM first. See How to create a hosting package in WHM.
- Connect WHMCS to WHM. See How to connect WHMCS to your reseller WHM account.
Create the product
- Go to Configuration → System Settings → Products/Services.
- Click Create a New Group (for example "Web Hosting") if you don't have one yet.
- Click Create a New Product, choose Shared Hosting, pick your group, enter a name and set Module to cPanel.
- On the Pricing tab, set your prices and billing cycles.
- On the Module Settings tab, pick your server group, then choose the matching WHM Package Name. Your package names start with your reseller username, like
yourname_starter. - Choose Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received, and save.
Place a test order on a client account to check that the cPanel account is created, then terminate it in WHMCS.
